CALLER POSITION INFORMATION COMBINED CALLING IDENTIFICATION DISPLAY SERVICE METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A caller position information combined calling identification display service method and a system thereof are provided to allow a user to know a position of a caller by checking a calling identification display including position-based information of the caller. CONSTITUTION: A location gateway(115) processes position information received from a mobile terminal to calculate a numerical position, performs a coordinate conversion to extract and provide a position of a mobile terminal or a user of the mobile terminal according to a type of a service. The location gateway(115) also authorizes a position-based originating service provider(100) who requests position information on the mobile terminal and encrypts the position information to be transferred to the authorized service provider(100). The location gateway(115) also registers, manages and maintains the position-based originating service provider(100). The position-based originating service provider(100) generates position-based valuable information and caller position information to be transferred to a destination terminal(140) from position information of an originating terminal(135) transferred from the location gateway(115). A DBMS(DataBase Management System)(110) interworks with D/Bs storing various position-based reference information that is able to generate position-based valuable information from the position information of the originating terminal(135). A caller position information processor(105) generates and processes the position-based valuable information and the caller position information through the position-based reference information extracted from the DBMS(110) and the position information of the originating terminal(135) transferred from the location gateway(115).
