<p>The balloon catheter is fitted with a tube (1) containing several parallel positioned ducts. The guide wire (6) is accommodated in a first duct, an optical device (7) with a lens at the outer end, if required, in a second duct; the third duct is used as a rinsing duct and the fourth duct (9) serves as a means for the transport of the dilatation medium used for filling the balloon (13). The balloon (13) is positioned around the outer surface of the tube (1), which is provided with holes (14) leading the medium into the balloon.</p> |
