<p>The invention relates to a system for the transmission of signals from vehicles, in particular vehicles on rails, along at least one given stretch of track (GLE1, GLE2), to at least one monitoring station, with which the vehicle is at least temporarily in contact by means of a radio connection. A radio connection between the vehicle and the monitoring station may be initiated by the vehicle as well as the monitoring station, characterised in that the vehicle has at least one transmitter device which is arranged to transmit on one of several frequencies (f1 - f8) and the at least one stretch of track (GLE1, GLE2) is divided into different track sections (ABS1" ABS8"), whereby each section of track has a receiver for a defined given frequency (f1 - f8) and the distribution of the frequencies (f1 - f8) amongst the individual receivers is achieved in such a way that on one stretch of track (GLE1), at least one track section (ABS2', ABS3') with a different one of the given frequencies (f4, f7) is arranged between two track sections (ABS1', ABS4') with the same frequency (f1).</p> |
