The radar-protection system (10) has a transmitting antenna (12) and at least two receiving antennae (141,142) and a control and evaluation device associated with them. The receiving antennae have different main-beam orientations and are provided with separate reception channels, in which the reception signals are separately mixed with the transmission signal in order to generate separate IF-signals, and the separated IF-signals are amplified preferably with a different gain. The IF-signals with their different gains are compared with one another to detect the angle position of a respective target object within or outside of the angular zone predetermined by the receiving antennae (141,142).
