APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING STATE OF BASE STATION

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the state of a base station are provided to use a transmission power measured in a conventional system without correction by converting an idle slot which is irregular in power into an active slot which is regular in power. CONSTITUTION: An interrupt timer(516) generates an interrupt signal during a diagnosis period and outputs the generated interrupt signal when a control unit(514) requests the generation of the interrupt signal by a diagnosis period unit. When receiving the interrupt signal, an idle slot discriminating unit(510) discriminates whether a transmission signal is an active slot or an idle slot and outputs the discriminated result. If the transmission signal is the idle slot as a result of the discrimination of the idle slot discriminating unit(510), an add-data generating unit(520) generates add-data and outputs the generated add-data to a power detector(510).
