PURPOSE: A schedule managing method of a mobile terminal is provided to allow a user to easily recognize importance of a schedule upon listening to an alarm bell sound by setting different alarm bell sounds according to each schedule. CONSTITUTION: A content, a date, time and a melody are received from a user and stored, and the stored schedule is edited as necessary(S1-S5). Certain time of the schedule is compared to current time to determine whether to generate an alarm(S7,S9). If alarm generation is determined, a melody corresponding to a schedule is outputted to the user through a speaker(S8,S10). If the user checks a content of the schedule after listening to the melody, the content of the schedule is displayed on a display unit(S6,S11).
