PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing a high speed signal for reproducing/recording information is provided to reproduce and process information stored on an information recording medium at a high speed, and then record the processed information on the information recording medium again. CONSTITUTION: A second signal processor(2) converts reproduced information stored on a predetermined information recording medium, and receives the result of the processing for converting the same into recording information to be recorded on the information recording medium while dividedly generating operating signals for a main motor(16) and a ribbon motor(21). A first driving control element(13) receives the operating signal for operating the main motor. A second driving control element(3) receives the operating signal for operating the ribbon motor. A first signal processor(1) receives the converted reproduced information from the second signal processor for communicating the result of executing a predetermined command with an external device. The first signal processor transmits the result of the processing to the second signal processor.
