CATALYST PREPARATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indexes for the time of firing with which a large quantity of a catalyst having high selectivity of an aimed product at the time of reaction can be prepared with high reproducibility with respect to a preparation method of an oxide catalyst to be employed for vapor-phase contact oxidation reaction of propane or isobutane or vapor-phase contact ammoxidation reaction.

SOLUTION: Firing is carried out to the extent that the reduction ratio on completion of preliminary firing or on completion of main firing is adjusted to be in a range from 0.8 to 1.2 times as high as the optimum value of the reduction ratio.
