PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chemicals volatilizing equipment having a same actual volatilizing time with an expressing time even when a cartridge is exchanged. SOLUTION: A button battery 13 integrally installed to the cartridge is constituted of an alkaline button battery having time dependent reduction of voltage. The cartridge is installed with protrusions 12 (12a, 12b) depending on its capacity and discharge resistance of a discharge circuit of the equipment changes. When the cartridge is installed to the main body of the equipment and a power switch 7 is put on, electric current flows from the alkaline button battery 11a through the discharge circuit of the main body of the equipment. A table T for memorizing an indication segment expressing used time of the cartridge to detected voltage of the button battery 13 is previously set in a control IC 30. The voltage of the button battery is detected at every constant period and when the power source is put on by a comparator 31 and the indication segment is judged by applying the detected voltage to the table T.
