PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material treatment apparatus in which a treated material is easily moved toward a discharge port to prevent the accumulation of the treated material and the deterioration of treatment performance is prevented. SOLUTION: The organic treatment apparatus is provided with a stirring means for stirring the organic material such as garbage charged into a treating vessel 1 and a discharge port 12 for overflowing the treated material in the treating vessel 1 with the stirring by a stirring means, and the bottom of the treating vessel 1 is inclined downward toward the discharge port 12 side. The stirring means has a plurality of stirring blades 5 erected on the stirring shaft 6 attached horizontally in the treating vessel 1, and the stirring blades in the discharge port 12 side are made longer to correspond to the inclination of the bottom surface 1a of the treating vessel 1.
