PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend-forming tool capable of bending a long surface material formed of a sheet metal used for formed metal exterior wall material or metal roofing material to satisfactorily finish the appearance thereof by bending the area of the surface material near the end face thereof. SOLUTION: When the area of the long surface material formed of the sheet metal near the end face thereof perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof is fixedly held by a gripper over the overall width thereof and a held part is closed and clamped in a fixed state, the surface material is clamped in the state of being held by the gripper, and the gripper is prevented from being displaced. Since the held part is rotated to a specified angle, the surface material can be bend-formed at a specified angle, and the appearance of the bent line of a bent part can be finished satisfactorily.
