PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide assortment equipment which is simple and low cost without requiring electricity expenses only by nature principles while the assortment work of empty polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and empty cans only possible by manual work or a large-scale equipment requiring electric force. SOLUTION: The equipment consists of a diagonally installed feeding channel 1 and feeding shaft 2. The feeding shaft 2 is encircled by an external wall having slopes 4 and the PET bottles and the empty cans are sorted with the difference of their lengths. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
