PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type throw-away diaper having simple disposal means. SOLUTION: The pants type throw-away diaper comprises an absorptive body which consists of a top sheet, a back sheet and an absorber arranged between these two sheets and an external member which is at least partly joined with the absorptive body and holds the absorptive body by putting the absorptive body around a wearing person so as to enclose the wearing person from the abdomen to the waist in wearing. The external member is formed with pickup means by a segment enclosed by two scores formed along the longitudinal direction of the diaper and parted from each other and one score formed to intersect with these two scores at the front end of the two scores and further fixing means is arranged in at least the front end region of the pickup means so that the pickup means is parted from the external member in disposal and the rounded diaper can be fastened and fixed by the above fixing section.
