SUPPLYING METHOD AND APPARATUS OF ARTICLE IN BOXING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply an article to an article hosing portion without causing losing of shage of the article to be packaged. SOLUTION: A supply conveyor 26 is arranged at one side of a box-making apparatus in a posture such that the carrying direction of the article is perpendicular to the carrying direction of a case by the apparatus. The conveying final end of the supply conveyor 26 moves forward and backward between a sending-in position in the article housing portion S of the unmade box case 14 arriving at an article boxing position of a box-making apparatus and the first retreating position of the outside by being right and reversely driven by a two-step cylinder 27 whereby the conveying final end discharges the article 22 to be packaged to the article housing portion S. After the packaged article 22 is discharged and the conveying final end of the supply conveyor 26 is raised to a position corresponding to a next piling up height by an elevating mechanism 28, the conveying final end moves forward and backward by being right and reversely driven by the two-step cylinder 27 whereby the article 22 to be packaged is piled up.
