PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct bar coater by which a coating liquid is uniformly applied. SOLUTION: The direct bar coater has a backing roll, a liquid tank and a micro-bar and the coating liquid kept in the liquid tank is fluidized. Because the change of the concentration of the coating liquid is suppressed in the direct bar coater, the coating liquid is applied on a base material without causing the coating unevenness.
