PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance husking efficiency and the winnowing accuracy of husked rice in an impeller blade type husking apparatus. SOLUTION: The impeller blade type husking apparatus 7 is arranged above a falling husked rice winnowing part 2 and impeller blades 7b, 7b, etc., are provided to a husking case 7a so as to be rotated around the vertical axis of the husking case 7a and rice grains in an unhulled rice hopper 6 are supplied to the upper and lower parts of the impeller blades 7b, 7b, etc., through a uniform spreading feeder 11 while spreading uniformly. Unhulled rice is husked by the impeller blades 7b, 7b, etc., rotated around the vertical axis within the husking case 7a to be brought to a diffused state. The husked rice held to the diffused state is allowed to flow down to be fed to the lower falling husked rice winnowing part 2 through a husked rice feed case 7d to be winnowed.
