CONTINUOUS DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous dryer enabling a continuous treatment to be carried out automatically in place of an intermittent treatment by human power and enabling stable-quality solid products to be obtained. SOLUTION: This continuous dryer has the following structure and mechanism: a drying cage assembly 1 made by joining drying subcages 1a-1h together with their shapes being such that their cross-section areas enlarge gradually is arranged around a rotating shaft 10 and so designed that a solid material charged thereinto advances spontaneously in the cage assembly 1 by the aid of gravitational action, during which the solid material is dried by a gas heater 18.
