PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trapping device capable of trapping a rat or the like harmful to human being. SOLUTION: Gateways 2 are installed to the both ends of a case 1 and the inside of the case is brought to be straight for a pathway of an animal to be trapped. The animal invading into the case is detected by a sensor 5. Doors 3 of the gateways 2 are simultaneously closed by releasing locks of the doors at their opened positions by magnetic locking means 4 by the detection signal and the invading animal is trapped.
