PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike object holder also serving as a storage box with which only a blank plate is folded and set up whereby a storage box for receiving and packaging a sheetlike calendar or the like can be made, wherein the calendar or the like can be used in a standing state. SOLUTION: The sheetlike object holder also serving as a storage box includes a storage region having a back face plate, a bottom face plate, a right side face plate, a left side face plate, a right frame plate and a left frame plate to be formed by setting up. A cut for inserting an insertion projection is formed on sides of an upper end rim and the bottom face plate on the back face plate. A top face plate, a front face plate, a coupling plate and a lid plate having the insertion projection at an end rim which are sequentially connected via creases with the upper end rim of the back face plate are folded to wind the storage region. The insertion projection is inserted into the cut on the side of the top face plate formed on the back face plate to be fixed. When in use, the holder also serving as a storage box can support itself by folding the top face plate, the front face plate, the coupling plate and the plate in opposite directions and inserting the insertion projection into the cut on the back face plate.
