PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining device for a rolling mill in the exit side of the rolling mill capable of preventing the generation of defects in quality such as rust or dirt in steel strip articles after rolling, excellent in maintainability and having a long service life. SOLUTION: The draining device for the rolling mill arranged in the exit side of the rolling mill is provided with two or more pairs of draining rolls, one or more draining plates, and one or more air spray nozzles. Preferably, two plate grooves on each surface of the draining plate are employed, and a draining member is embedded to the plate groove to contact with the steel plate so that draining is positively performed, and by rotating the draining surface, each four surfaces can be utilized structurally, and the plate groove has a structure to be replaced with a cassette system.
