PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing physical properties of a golf ball by a simulation based on a useful mesh division. SOLUTION: First of all, a golf ball model 11 is obtained by dividing the golf ball equipped with a core, intermediate thin layers and a cover into meshes of a number of elements 13a, 13b and 13c. Next, the physical properties of the golf ball are analyzed by the simulation of a finite element method or the like using such a golf ball model 11. The number of portions divided in a circumferential direction corresponding to the thin layers is set to be more than the number of portions divided in the circumferential direction corresponding to the core and the number of portions divided in the circumferential direction corresponding to the cover. The average aspect ratio of elements 13b included in the portions corresponding to the thin layers is≥1/1 and≤4/1. The elements 13b included in the portions corresponding to the thin layer and the elements 13a and 13c included in the portions corresponding to layers adjacent to this thin layer are fixed and coupled.
