<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of protecting the parts of an anaerobic digester from corrosion, which are contacted with gas produced from the digester preventing gas explosion and preventing the generation of malodors at a low construction cost. <P>SOLUTION: The anaerobic digester A is lined up with anaerobic contact filter media 6 in the form of a plurality of lumps or assemblages having a spread in a transverse direction at specific intervals in a transverse direction in order to perform digestion treatment of organic waste water flowing therein, and is disposed with these filter media in a plurality of stages so as to partly overlap the members one above the other at specified intervals and is formed the hermetic structure exclusive of an outdoor air introducing port 4 and a gas exit 7. The outdoor air introducing port 4 is preferably provided with ventilation means (not shown in Figure) for pressurizing and introducing outdoor air, or the gas exit 7 is preferably provided with ventilation means BL2 for sucking and discharging the exhaust gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
