PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair combining its setting performance and the ability to give the hair both natural feeling and wiry and smooth touch. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic comprises a polysiloxane chain-containing amphoteric urethane resin and/or a polysiloxane compound-bearing amphoteric urethane resin having structural unit derived from a compound of the general formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>to R<SP>9</SP>are each an alkyl; R<SP>2</SP>to R<SP>5</SP>are each C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n</SB>; R<SP>10</SP>is methyl or ethyl; and m is an integer of 1-200) and (A) at least one kind of conjugate composed of an amphoteric surfactant and/or a semipolar surfactant and a higher fatty acid and/or (B) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer.
