PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation has both of moisture retention- imparting effect and morphologic improving action of skin such as smoothness- imparting effect. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation comprises (1) one or more kinds of compounds selected from highly viscous or solid silicones and (2) a (10-30C) alkyl acrylic acid-methacrylate copolymer. An alkylpolysiloxane, a crosslink type alkylpolysiloxane, a trialkylsiloxysilicic acid, an alkylpolysiloxane network polymer, etc., can preferably be exemplified as the silicone. A highly viscous or solid silicon having methylpolysiloxane, crosslinked methylpolysiloxane or trimethylsiloxysilicic acid structure is further preferable as the silicone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
