<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt-based seasoning which gives mild and good tastes to dishes, promotes appetites, is beneficial for health, is suitable for all dishes, and has excellent storability, and to provide a method for producing the salt- based seasoning. <P>SOLUTION: This salt-based seasoning comprises powdery roast natural sea water salt as a main component and a powdery dry herb having the approximately same or less particle size as or than the size of the powdery roasted salt. The method for producing the salt-based seasoning comprises the first process for roasting natural sea water salt to produce the powdery roasted salt, the second process for drying a herb, the third process for pulverizing and sieving the dried herb to obtain the powdery dry herb having the approximately same or less a or than the size of the powdery roasted salt, and the fourth process for mixing the powdery dry herb obtained in the third process with the powdery roasted salt obtained in the first process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
