<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club with which a hit ball is not deviated to the right and left and distance is improved by enlarging the head sufficiently and expanding a sweet area. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club 1 is provided with a shaft 2 and a head 3, which is formed of a head main body 4 and a mass body 5. The head main body 4 is made from material the density of which is not larger than 5.0. The mass body 5 is made from material the density of which is not smaller than 8.0 and is arranged at a position which the center axis 6 of the shaft 2 inside of the head main body 4 passes through. The head main body 4 of the head 3 is provided with a part 7 separated from the center axis 6 of the shaft 2 by at least 95 mm. In addition, the ratio of the mass of a part 8 at a distance of not longer than 7 mm from the center axis 6 of the shaft 2 to the mass of the whole head 3 is at least 15%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
