PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment material for cement concrete which can lower the concentration of the hexavalent chromium by mixing concrete sludge and can reduce the elution amount of the hexavalent chromium of the not-yet solidified cement concrete, is used effectively as a wastewater treatment method, provides preventing environmental pollution and is used in a civil engineering and construction industry, and to provide a wastewater treatment method using the same. SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment material for the cement concrete contains the powder of slow cooling slag of a blast furnace, contains≥0.5% in the content of non-sulfuric acid sulfur, and contains of≤30% in the glassfying rate of slow cooling slag of the blast furnace is provided.
