摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil fertility promoting material which effectively normalizes a rhizosphere environment such as salt damage, replant failure, draught damage and wet damage, improves quality and yield and performs the repellence to harmful insects and the prevention of diseases and physiological disorders. SOLUTION: The soil fertility promoting material applicable for all plants is constituted in such a manner that a fertilizer component and a functional organic substance are retained and adsorbed on a substrate which is at least one supporting body selected from among the group consisting of kneaded material of chaff of plant seed hull, humus material, zeolite, bentonite and tobermolite of porous calcium silicate. Therein, the fertilizer component retained and adsorbed on the substrate features that the composition ratio of nitrogen, phosphate and kalium is 1:1:1 and, subsequently, the composition ratio of calcium to boron is 1:1, and further, the composition ratio of microelements Cu/Zn:Mo:Fe/Mn is 1:2:3. Furthermore, as the functional organic substance, the composition ratio of vitamins (B6 and C), a sulpher-containing amino acid (L-cystine) and sugar (at least one selected from among the group consisting of cane sugar as a saccharide, sorbitol and trehalose) is 1:1:1.
