<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the separation of a heat-sealed portion when curling characteristics are imparted to a lid. <P>SOLUTION: A method for imparting curling characteristics to a lid of a lidded container is performed by such a way that the lid of the lidded container, which is made of a laminated plastic film wherein a heat shrinkage factor of an outer layer is greater than that of an inner layer, and which is separably heat-sealed to an opening edge of a container main body, is heated by a non- contact heat source to be thereby separated from the container main body, and then the curling characteristics of curling the lid to an outer recess are imparted to the lid. By disposing a cover member between the heat source and the lid, heat which directs to the heat-sealed portion of the lid, in heat directing from the heat source to the lid, is shielded by the cover member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
