PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulated casting method by which a conjecture can be correctly made of the temperature distribution of a casting mold without depending upon the experience of an operator. SOLUTION: This simulated casting method comprises an element creation step to position the casting mold on a coordinate system and divide the casting mold into a plurality of microelements, each being formed of a polyhedron, and a heat transfer analysis step to analyze a heat transfer between adjacent elements and a heat transfer between the elements on the outermost surface of the casting mold and the outside of the casting mold and estimates the temperature distribution of the casting mold. In addition, the method comprises a cooling point setting step S32 to set a cooling point for cooling the casting mold from the cavity face side and a heat transfer coefficient setting step S33 to set a heat transfer coefficient between the element on the outermost surface of the casting mold and the outside of the casting mold, according to information relative to the setting of a cooling point which is set by the cooling point setting step S32 after the element creation step and the cooling point setting step S32 and before the heat transfer analysis step S34.
