<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing scale in a cooling water circulating system of an air conditioner in a building or a heat exchanger in a general factory, or a petrochemical complex, by which the scale consisting of calcium carbonate can be prevented efficiently without using chemicals. <P>SOLUTION: The scale in the water circulating system can be prevented by adjusting the concentration of silica to 110-250 mgSiO<SB>2</SB>/liter or by adjusting the TOC concentration to 4-20 mgC/liter and controlling Lingeria index to be 0-2 by a scale component depositing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
