<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device which can impart variations to a game by preventing similar events from being repeated. <P>SOLUTION: Enemy sensing abilities, with which monsters (enemy characters) are equipped, respectively, are made different from one another; at first, enemies are searched for by using the higher-priority ability (S3); and after that, when a distance to a player character is reduced, the other enemy sensing abilities are also exercised (S6), so that the player character can be sensed (S4).
