<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of saving the operating cost of a septic tank with a biological treating vessel and a filtration treating vessel by diverting a flocculating agent used to catch phosphosubstances, and to prevent the clogging of filter applicade to filtration treatment. <P>SOLUTION: Equipment is provided with a blast device for feeding a prescribed amount of a flocculating agent for agglomerating pollutants to the filtration treating vessel and obstructing the adsorption of the pollutants to the filter. If the flocculating agent is polyaluminum chloride, the supplying rate of the flocculating agent is so regulated as to confine the molar ratio of the aluminum/phosphorus in water to be treated within a range from 0.1 to 1.0 and the concentration of the MLSS in the water is so regulated as to attain 10,000 mg/liter or below. The method comprises supplying the flocculating agent to agglomerate the fine granular materials for preventing the clogging of the filter at a prescribed concentration ratio into the water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
