PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the car body front part structure capable of effectively distributing a collision load to both side members and capable of improving the collision energy absorbing efficiency when a front surface collision is generated from any direction. SOLUTION: The side member 11 is provided with a reinforcing part 11R for supporting a vehicle unit part 30, and a part of the side member in front of the reinforcing part 11R is formed as a side member front range 11F, and a bumper reinforce 12 is connected to the side member, riding over a front edge of each side member 11. The maximum stress to be generated in a front part and a rear part of a virtual cross section continued in the longitudinal direction is set to be larger in the rear part than the front part, and a crush is led from the rear part toward the front part of the side member front range 11F by a collision load F to be applied from the front part to constantly maintain a fitting angle to the bumper reinforce 12 and to distribute the load to the side member 11 of the non-collision side.
