The device (1) comprises a casing with a liquid reservoir (2), a pump (5) for pressurising the liquid inside the reservoir and a squirt head (10) which can be moved in and out of the casing. A device (1) for expelling a liquid under pressure comprises a casing containing a liquid reservoir (2), a pump (5) for pressurising the liquid inside the reservoir and a squirt head (10) which can be moved in and out of the casing in order to squirt liquid out of the reservoir during and/or after operation of the device. Independent claims are also included for (a) a squirt head comprising a long neck part for distancing the head from a liquid reservoir and at least one opening for allowing a liquid with at least one sideways oriented vector component to pass through, (b) a squirting device comprising a guide for a squirt head and/or telescopic part and a squirt head which can be moved in and out of the guide part in order for a liquid to be expelled via the head from a reservoir during operation of the device and (c)a method for operating a device for expelling a liquid under pressure, by pushing a squirt head and/or telescopic part out of a device and bending the head and/or part.
