Load bearing wall structure for a rocket engine member and associated manufacturing method

A liquid fuel rocket engine exhaust nozzle member has a load bearing wall structure(14) with multiple flow channels(11) for handling a coolant flow. Each channel(11) has a flow guiding surface(15) extending at an angle to the channel axis. The surface(15) provides an added flow velocity in the radial direction to the axial flow velocity. A sheet metal surface is shaped to provide the guiding surface(15) and folded to form the cooling channels that also provide part of the wall structure.
