METHOD FOR PRODUCING BOILED RICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing boiled rice capable of preventing time deterioration of quality of the boiled rice, bringing flavor and palate feeling of just boiled rice to chilled and frozen boiled rice and flavor and palate feeling like those of new rice to stored rice and extremely advantageously enforceable only through adding betaine to the rice.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the boiled rice comprises using betaine by addition.
