CARRIER FOR CULTURING ANIMAL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for animal cell culture having large cell adhesion surface area and enabling sufficient supply of nutrients and oxygen from the medium to the animal cell.

SOLUTION: The carrier for the animal cell culture is composed of a composite resin particle C having fine resin particles A on the surface of a resin particle B. The carrier preferably satisfy the formula 0.001≤DVA/DVB≤0.5 wherein DVA is the volume-average particle diameter of the fine resin particle A and DVB is the volume-average particle diameter of the resin particle B.
