PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the enhancement of a working environment and the enhancement of the efficiency of kneading work by preventing the scattering of a compounding powder generated in a raw material charging hopper or raw material supply part at the time of charging of a raw material. SOLUTION: This hermetically closed rubber kneader is equipped with a kneading chamber 13 formed by a casing 11 and an end frame 12, a pair of rotors 14 arranged in the kneading chamber 13 and reversely rotated to knead a rubber and the compounding powder, a cylinder 15 communicating with the upper opening 13a of the kneading chamber 13, a floating weight 17 attached to the lower end of a rod 16 rising and falling in the cylinder 15 to press the kneading chamber 13, a raw material charging port 18 opened on the side of one surface 15a of the cylinder 15, and a raw material charging hopper 19 provided to the lower edge 18a of the raw material charging port 18. A nozzle 20 for spraying mist M for preventing the scattering of the powder is provided to the upper edge 18b of the raw material charging port 18 opposed to the raw material charging hopper 19.
