THERMAL STENCIL PAPER AND METHOD FOR MAKING PLATE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal stencil paper and a method for making a plate thereof which reduce ink transfer quantity to be proper in the case when ink of a low viscosity having a high permeability into printing paper is used for enhancing ink drying properties in stencil printing and which reduce the thermal deformation of the paper on the occasion of making the plate thereof and thereby prevent wrinkling thereof on the occasion of carrying in a printing machine or winding on a printing drum. SOLUTION: The thermal stencil paper is constituted of a finely porous plastic film having communicating holes, and the film thickness thereof is 1-100μm and the air permeability 1-600 sec, while the flexibility of the communicating holes is 1.1-6.0.
