PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving pulse generating circuit of ink jet recorder in which a plurality of stabilized voltages can be generated continuously through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: In the driving pulse generating circuit 40 for use in an ink jet printer printing on a sheet utilizing electromechanical conversion of a piezoelectric 32, a Cockcroft-Walton type power supply circuit 41 is employed as a source for supplying a driving pulse voltage being applied to the piezoelectric 32. A voltage can be taken out from each stage of the Cockcroft-Walton type power supply circuit 41 and a driving pulse is generated by delivering an output voltage selectively respective stages.
