PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple treatment equipment which can efficiently perform cleaning muddy water containing sludge accumulated on the sea bottom of fish farms. SOLUTION: The muddy water treatment equipment has an active carbon container permitting the vertical flow of water, filtration equipment disposed on the upper side of the active carbon container and a feeder for the divided muddy water to the filtration equipment by which the sludge in the muddy water is separated by filter sheet circulating and traveling above the active carbon container and to feed the filtrated water through the filter to the active carbon container. The end of the circulating route of the filter is provided with an air ejection nozzle for removing the sludge on the filter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
