<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head and an ink jet recorder which can be driven with low power consumption and low energy and can eject high viscosity ink by enhancing the ink ejection characteristics while decreasing the number of components, reducing cost and downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet head 10 having a chamber filled with ink being ejected from a nozzle opening 24 by applying a pressure, a heater 30 composed of a material 33 having PTC characteristics, where the electric resistance increases at a specified temperature, is provided on the outer surface of the chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
