METHOD FOR PRODUCING BLOCK-LIKE FREEZE-DRIED FOODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a drying time in the production of a block-like freeze-dried food.

SOLUTION: In this method for producing a block-like freeze-dried food, a cooked liquid food or pasty food is packed into a block-like mold tray having a recessed part at the bottom. The bottom of the tray is piled on a metal plate and the tray is placed between heating steps in a drying chamber or on a metal plate having a projected part at a position corresponding to the recessed part so that the projected part can be inserted into and stuck fast to the recessed part of the bottom of the tray and the tray is placed between the heating steps in the drying chamber.
