PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable transplanter by solving the problems that the distance from insertion of seedlings to taking over by transplanting claws is short and complicates opening and closing mechanisms for providing two rows and the one seedling is nipped with a lid when one row is skipped because a seedling feed platform of a conventional seedling transplanting apparatus is a disk form. SOLUTION: This vegetable transplanter is designed to charge the seedlings from a seedling feed part provided on a machine body frame, move the transplanting claws onto a ridge and transplant the seedlings. In the vegetable transplanter, each undersurface of the series of seedling transporting pots 40 connected into a chain form with connecting plates 43 is covered with a lid body 45 pivoted on the connecting plates 43 and rollers are freely rotatably supported alternatively left and right from the transporting direction on the undersurface of each lid 45 and arranged so as to be rollable on a transporting pedestal 39 installed on the machine body frame 2.
