<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal fired boiler for taking out coal ashes generated therein as molten slag, particularly a coal fired boiler with a rotary furnace for melting coal ashes capable of more economically performing molten slag formation by making use of the equipment thereof. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas duct of a rotary melting furnace 20 for melting coal ashes is connected to the boiler exhaust gas recirculation duct 18 of a coal fired boiler 11. Coal ashes collected at the downstream of the coal fired boiler 11 are supplied to the rotary melting furnace 20 and recovered as molten slag therefrom.</p> |
