A paperlike plastics film is made by extrusion of a three layers film. The outer layers are filled with fine grain mineral fillers and the middle layer is not filled. This middle layer acts as a supporting layer. The composite film is extruded in tubular form and stretched by applying pressure inside the tube. The plastics materials used can be a polyethylene, a polypropylene or certain polyamides. |
