<p>The invention concerns a bearing element (10, 110) for securing a flat panel-shaped unit (40, 140), in particular a photovoltaic unit, to a sloping roof. The bearing element (10, 110) can be fixed to the roof substructure when laid along the crest-gutter line. To produce a bearing element (10, 110) which will allow the unit (40, 140) to be built into a roof covering consisting of small roofing panels or to be incorporated into an existing roof covering without adaptation, it is proposed that the bearing element should be provided with a stay (12) to brace an adjacent (in the crest direction) bearing element (110) lying in the same line of slope at a height above the surface of the overlying panel-shaped unit (40) so as to allow longitudinal displacement.</p> |
