The electric heater panel for a bacterial culture container has electrical heaters (11) connected to a power feed (12). The electric heaters have two connecting plates to the power feed, the two plates being spaced with a layer of insulation between them. The plates and insulation extend along the surface of the panel to form an electrical resistance heater.
