<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power-line carrier communication by a portable telephone by using a charging base. <P>SOLUTION: In data transmission, a base-band processor 10-3 of a portable telephone body 101 generates and modulates digital transmit data, a D/A circuit 105 converts the digital transmit data from digital to analog, and a coupling circuit 106 outputs analog transmit data from a contact 108 for electric charging to the charging base 102 and applies them from the charging base 102 to the power line 110. In data reception, the coupling circuit 106 inputs receive data sent from the power line 110 from the contact 108 for electric charging through the charging base 102, an A/D circuit 104 performs A/D conversion, and the base-band processor 103 demodulates digital receive data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
